Lonestar's streak of hit country singles started in 1996 with the rock-edged "No News," and continued with the following year's "Come Cryin' to Me" and “Everything’s Changed.” The band's quadruple-platinum 1999 album Lonely Grill spawned four No. 1 hits including "What About Now" and the beloved global smash "Amazed." Lonestar was quickly established as music's preeminent pop-country band, a status they'd maintain through the 2000s and beyond thanks to hits such as "I'm Already There" and "My Front Porch Looking In."

The Phil is honored to participate in America’s Hometown Thanksgiving Celebration. The weekend of festivities has become a beloved holiday occasion as well as an important link to our nation’s history and heritage.
We’re crossing the Atlantic for this year’s celebration and docking in merry old England. Composer and Plymouth Phil assistant conductor Neal Hampton ascends the podium with music he composed for the stage, a lush and romantic score for Sense and Sensibility. This musical adaptation of Jane Austen’s well-loved story has delighted audiences on both sides of the pond since its 2013 premiere. British composers rule the second half of our celebration, including the brilliant Ralph Vaughan Williams, whose exquisite Fantasia on Greensleeves totally eclipsed the familiar song that inspired it.

or over 55 years, Tower of Power has delivered the best in funk and soul music. East Bay Grease defined their sound and landed them with Warner Brothers. Bump City, their 1972 debut for the label, was a hit on both the Billboard 200 and the R&B Albums chart, and netted them the hits “You’re Still A Young Man” and “Down to The Nightclub.” The 70s were a boom period with radio classics like “So Very Hard to Go” and “What Is Hip?,” and the band continued to tour and record over the years. Castillo says their love of the stage is the same today as it was back in 1968.
The future of Tower of Power is set out to be vigorous and dynamic, and will prove to be just that for fans around the world starved for the band’s groove just the way Tower of Power likes it!

From the bombastic and epic, to the folky and mystical, Get The Led Out (GTLO) have captured the essence of the recorded music of Led Zeppelin and brought it to the concert stage. The Philadelphia-based group consists of six veteran musicians intent on delivering Led Zeppelin live, like you’ve never heard before. Utilizing the multi-instrumentalists at their disposal, GTLO re-create the songs in all their depth and glory with the studio overdubs that Zeppelin themselves never performed. When you hear three guitars on the album...GTLO delivers three guitarists on stage. No wigs or fake English accents, GTLO brings what the audience wants...a high energy Zeppelin concert with an honest, heart-thumping intensity.
Dubbed by the media as "The American Led Zeppelin," Get The Led Out offers a strong focus on the early years. They also touch on the deeper cuts that were seldom, if ever heard in concert. GTLO also include a special “acoustic set” with Zep favorites such as “Tangerine” and "Hey Hey What Can I Do."
Whether it's the passion and fury with which they deliver the blues-soaked, groove-driven rock anthems, it's their attention to detail and nuance that makes a Get The Led Out performance a truly awe-inspiring event!

Ain’t it good to know, you’ve got a friend? A lot of ‘em! And we’re heading to midtown Manhattan— 1619 Broadway, The Brill Building, to be exact. That’s where some of the greatest music from the 1950s and ’60s came from—heart-breakers and chart-breakers like Stand by Me, Where the Boys Are, River Deep, Mountain High, You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin’, and Breaking Up Is Hard to Do. During its heyday, the eleven-story Brill Building contained 165 independent music companies—song writers, arrangers, musicians, producers, publishers, printers, and promoters—that knew they were much better together. Without a doubt, the tenants of this fabulously famous music factory turned the tunes of Carole King, Neil Sedaka, Neil Diamond, Barry Mann & Cynthia Weill, and Lieber & Stoller into the soundtrack of a generation. So, get ready to dial back the decades and experience the music, stories and “thrill of the Brill” with multi-award-winning vocalist Scott Coulter & company.

Thanks to Warner Brothers, some of the merriest melodies and looniest tunes are classical! No kidding. Remember when Elmer Fudd chased Bugs into a theatre? Suddenly the curtain rose, and without missing a beat, that wascally wabbit scored the title role in Rossini’s The Barber (er, Rabbit) of Seville. Or how about the time Bugs showed off his piano-playing prowess with Liszt’s Hungarian Rhapsody and Fudd took off rabbit hunting with Wagner’s Ride of the Valkyries? But th-th-th-that’s not all, folks! There are more cartoon classics in this animated music fest: Raymond Scott’s over-the-top “assembly line” machine music, The Flintstones Meet The Jetsons mashup, and The Duel from John Williams’ score of The Adventures of TinTin, nominated for Best Original Score at the 84th Academy Awards. This concert is a guaranteed yabba dabba doo time! The winner of the South Shore Conservatory Youth Concerto Competition will be the featured soloist.

The High Kings are Finbarr Clancy, Darren Holden, Brian Dunphy and newest member Paul O’ Brien. The High Kings formed in June 2007 when Brian, Darren, Finbarr and former member Martin Furey were asked to join a brand-new Irish ballad group by David Kavanagh after he had noticed a gap in the market for a band specialising in traditional Irish music.
It didn’t take long during their first studio rehearsal for them to realise that the way their individual voices blended together meant that they were onto something special. The High Kings play 13 instruments between them, creating the unique sound and atmosphere that they still showcase to this day. This was confirmed when their self-titled debut album reached number 2 on the world Billboard Music chart. In March 2009 The High Kings played 5 consecutive sold out shows to a packed audience in Dublin’s Olympia Theatre.
The High Kings continue to set the bar extremely high for Irish Folk bands across the world and are widely regarded to be at the forefront of the genre. The High Kings continue to perform in sell out venues across the globe to their ever-growing army of loyal fans that span generations.

Join us for a captivating concert of all-American charm and soul-stirring melodies. Bernstein’s brilliantly orchestrated overture to Candide is a time-tested tour de force for orchestra. In 2005, the Phil was the first orchestra in New England to perform Joan Tower’s Made in America. The bold and energetic piece, with America the Beautiful at its core, went on to win a Grammy Award. Aaron Copland’s Symphony No. 3 is larger than life and everything we want America to be: ambitious, confident, heroic, hopeful, and happy.
